Input requirements & study scope
Already cleaned text only. Raw-post cleaning is not provided. Text is Chinese social-media post text. Referents are the entities you want scored; they must appear in the text. Separate multiple referents with an English comma.
The event lexicon is the study configuration. General and combined lexicons are exploratory configurations and are not the configurations used in the paper. The official service retains its object-position checks; a multi-referent input can be rejected rather than assigned a score.
Input validation and processing limits are enforced by the official service. Rejected inputs retain their original status with a blank score. Each pair has a 20-second processing timeout.

Maximum 1000 input rows per submission. Each post–referent pair counts separately toward the credential’s total of 1000 pairs. Requests are automatically split into batches of at most 200 pairs.
Results
A score of 0 does not by itself establish neutrality. It may reflect limited lexicon coverage or cancellation between contributions.
Eight columns: id, timestamp, text, referent, sentiment_strength, status, source, lexicon. Failed pairs remain in the download with a blank score.

Numbers use six decimal places; nonzero absolute values below 1e-6 use scientific notation. CSV downloads preserve this same representation.
Stored tests
Submitted input files and temporary processing files are deleted when a task completes, fails, or is cancelled. Results include the submitted text and are retained for download for 7 days after completion, unless deleted earlier by the user. After that period, the stored results are automatically deleted. Submitted texts are used only to process the requested analysis.
